Nokia N8 on sale in UK
The much anticipated Nokia handset – Nokia N8 is all set to hit the UK markets.
The Nokia N8 is said to have been put on sale in the UK market with the first price hitting £429.
The Finnish mobile manufacturing giants have been looking for their perfect formula for a while now, as they have struggled to move into the smart phone category that has recently been the talking point and a major sales trend in the market.
The Nokia N8 hopes to compete with smart phone giants like Apple and HTC and has enough features to hold its head up high.
The hand set is Symbian 3 operated. It has a 12 mega pixel camera with an additional Carl Zeiss optics, High Definition HD video recording features and Ovi Maps that have detailed features of even turn by turn updates.
While the Symbian 3 device has not received as grand a reception as expected by the Nokia Company, they are hoping to crawl their way through this. It is after all very difficult to break into this niche with other players now already established in it with a huge fan following.
The Symbian 3 operating system has been rated as the number one operating system this year with the Android operating system snipping at its heels and this should play as a major advantage in favour of Nokia as they look to push their model – the Nokia N8 forward.
Apart from that, the Nokia brand has for long been an established giant in the mobile manufacturing industry and is hoping that this reputation of theirs would play a part in helping the N8 sale.
Nokia is hoping that this will be a start for many more successful devices in the smart phone market, assuming that this one is a success.
